Come and see us in Pool

Our day centre at Chi Winder on Dudnance Lane offers a range of services for adults aged 18 years and over.

You do not have to be homeless to use the service, so we invite you to come and have a look around and speak to us if you would like some support with your current situation.

Services available

  • Food vouchers - help with free food for you and your family
  • Showers and laundry - make use of these services while you are at the centre
  • Health for Homeless - this GP service runs clinics every day for people not registered with a local doctor
  • Support services - help is available from us and a range of organisations covering housing, money and benefits, drugs and alcohol advice, education, employment, job applications and training

We also offer

  • Free resources - use a computer or the phone for important calls, emails, and job and home hunting
  • Courses and activities - we run lots of different sessions across the year
  • Volunteering - our scheme is accredited by Investing in Volunteers and offer a number of great opportunities
  • Refreshments - help yourself to tea, coffee and snacks

Chi Winder is also the main office for the majority of our staff who deal with referrals to other areas of the service and agencies.
