How we procure
For lower-value purchases we obtain written quotations, while larger contracts are awarded through a formal tendering process.
As a public sector organisation, we carry out our procurement activities in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023. This legislation replaced the previous regulations and sets out the rules we must follow to ensure procurement is fair, transparent, competitive and delivers value for money. Contract opportunities are advertised through the Find a Tender service where required

Living Wage Foundation
Coastline Housing is a Living Wage accredited employer and works with our service providers towards implementing the Living Wage in all our contracts.
The Living Wage Foundation is a campaigning organisation in the United Kingdom which aims to persuade employers to pay a living wage. Coastline has made a commitment to the Living Wage Foundation and is keen that this ethos is supported by our contractors and suppliers.
For further information please check the Living Wage Foundation website and consider how this may be adapted within your business.
Paying the Living Wage to staff has well documented benefits including improved productivity and retention together with lower staff training costs. It is also part of responsible business management.
We are a responsible business and the Living Wage is part of our core values.
