Allister Young

Allister originally joined Coastline as Director of Finance in 2012, before becoming CEO in 2014. After studying Physics at the University of Edinburgh he qualified as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in London.
His previous roles include Assistant Director of Finance at the Peabody Trust, and Director of Finance & Resources at Tree Aid. He was a board member of PlaceShapers from 2017 to 2023, is a member of the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Strategic Housing Group, and vice-chair of the National Housing Federation’s South West region.

Louise Beard
Deputy CEO with responsibility for Housing, Assets and Communities
Louise joined Coastline in 2007 and has an excellent and demonstrable record of accomplishment of strategic leadership at senior executive level within the housing, care and support sector. She has over 30 years’ experience in social housing and a genuine belief in affordable housing improving quality of life, health and wellbeing for customers.
Her main responsibilities include assisting the CEO in ensuring effective leadership and executive management, and to deputise for the CEO on key strategic matters. She also provides a clear focus on exceptional customer service, income collection, repairs and maintenance, and property investment and viability.
Louise is the responsible individual with the Care Quality Commission for Coastline’s Extra Care service at Miners Court in Redruth.
She joined the National Housing Federation’s Homelessness National Group in 2023, and is housing theme lead on the Turning The Tide strategic Cost of Living Group for Cornwall. Louise was a voluntary member of the Cornwall Trustees for Shared Lives South West between 2014 and 2022, and Chair of Community Led Local Development for Coast to Coast from 2018 to 2023.

Nathan Mallows
Director of Development, Growth & Partnerships
Nathan is a passionate and committed executive with a background in finance, development and partnership working in both the social housing and wider not-for-profit sector. He is responsible for strategic delivery of new affordable housing solutions, partnership and growth at Coastline as part of our wider mission to end Cornwall’s Housing Crisis.
Nathan has been at Coastline for over 10 years - initially as our Director of Finance, People and Change and more recently as our Director of Development, Partnerships and Growth.
At a national level Nathan is a member of the British Property Federation Affordable Housing Committee.
Outside of work, Nathan’s life is focussed around people and family – on his wife, two adult children and a black Labrador, plus friends made locally and during previous adventures.

Zoe Field
Director of Finance
Zoe Field is the Director of Finance at Coastline, appointed following 16 years with the organisation. She began her finance career as a Youth Training Scheme apprentice in 2000 after leaving school and progressed through a range of finance roles before joining Coastline in 2010, demonstrating the power of opportunity, commitment, and professional growth.
Zoe is responsible for setting and delivering Coastline’s finance and treasury strategy, as well as managing and reporting on financial performance. She brings deep organisational knowledge and strategic insight to support strong governance, long‑term sustainability, and value for money for customers and communities.
Passionate about wellbeing and leading by example, Zoe also leads Coastline’s annual charity marathon challenges, inspiring colleagues through resilience, teamwork, and giving back.

Natasha Eden
Director of People, Technology and Transformation
Natasha joined Coastline in April 2026, bringing over 20 years of leadership experience across the charity, care, heritage and commercial sectors. She is responsible for leading Coastline's people strategy, technology function and organisational transformation, with a strong belief that great cultures and the right technology are enablers of better outcomes for customers and communities.
Before joining Coastline, Natasha served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Lead for People Strategy at ShelterBox, an international disaster relief charity, where she led complex organisational change across a global operation. Her earlier career includes roles as Project Director at Sanctuary Group, Interim Chief Executive at Cornwall Care, and COO at the Black Country Living Museum. Prior to this Natasha worked in a variety of private sector organisations.
She lives on the north coast of Cornwall, where she has deep roots, and is passionate about the county she calls home. Outside work, she volunteers with St Petrocs, a homelessness charity, and is committed to environmental causes - having helped to rewild 3.5 acres of land supporting local bat species and barn owls.
