Emergency repairs
Emergency repairs must be reported by phone on 01209 200200. Lines are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
These are repairs that affect your health and safety. We will make them safe or, where possible, complete the repair within 24 hours or sooner depending on the nature of the repair. Examples of emergency repairs are:
- an uncontainable water leak
- a serious roof leak or a major structural failure
- a complete heating failure where no back up heating is available (in winter months).
Routine repairs
You can report most routine repairs at any time through My Coastline. Just open the My Coastline app or login through the My Coastline site, then fill in the quick form to tell us what needs fixing. You can upload a photograph, and for most repairs you can book your own appointment for a time that suits you.
You can also call our usual number 01209 200200 between 8:30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, and choose option 4.
Before the repair
- we'll phone you to ask for further details if they are needed
- we'll arrange a convenient date and time to attend, if you've not been able to find a suitable slot at the time of reporting
- we'll send text messages if we have your mobile number - when your repair has been booked to confirm the appointment, the day before your appointment as a reminder, on the day of the repair to confirm your time slot, and when we're on the way
- we'll phone you to let you know if we've been delayed.
