How we procure
For minor expenditure we ask for written quotations, while larger contracts are awarded through a formal tendering process.
With our largest expenditure we must follow the procedures that have been set by the The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 which is up to date with all changes known to be in force on or before 30 September 2022. These replace the previous European Union and tender via the Open Journal of the European Union (OJEU).

Living Wage Foundation
Coastline Housing has become a Living Wage accredited employer and will be working with our service providers towards implementing the Living Wage in all our contracts.
The Living Wage Foundation is a campaigning organisation in the United Kingdom which aims to persuade employers to pay a living wage. Coastline has made a commitment to the Living Wage Foundation and is keen that this ethos is supported by our contractors and suppliers.
We will work with partners to better understand the implications of the legal minimum National Living Wage and consider what support can be provided.
For further information please check the Living Wage Foundation website and consider how this may be adapted within your business,
Paying the Living Wage to staff has well documented benefits including improved productivity and retention together with lower staff training costs. It is also part of responsible business management.
We are a responsible business and the Living Wage is part of our core values.
