Coastline completed its most recent skip amnesty last week, this time at Hawthorn Close in Redruth, as part of our responsible neighbourhood management.
Skip amnesties make a positive contribution by reducing fly-tipping and fire hazards, keeping properties safe and supporting customers to manage their tenancies.
On the day:
- Coastline operatives removed four van loads of unwanted items.
- Our Tenancy Team responded to customer problems and basic tenancy questions.
- Our Income and Tenancy Sustainment teams handled cost of living issues and benefit information.
- Our Community Investment Team picked up rubbish and distributed summer supplies to neighbourhood kids, and shared free books and information as part of a partnership with Redruth Library and the Literacy Trust.
Thank you to everyone involved and the support of the community. Customers told us how events like this help foster a sense of community in the area.
Look out for more skip amnesties later in the year. We’ll share details closer to the time, so keep an eye on our socials.
