Our Homeless Service has been given four laptops complete with Windows and Office software for clients to use on their journeys into training and employment.
The laptops were kindly donated by Duchy Pro Solutions and we know they will make a real difference to lots of people.
Leanne Coulson, Supported Accommodation and Community Outreach Team Leader, said: "Thank you so much, what a fantastic opportunity this is going to be for the training and employment delivery we offer."
Clients will be using the devices to undertake online courses, practice their computer skills, apply for jobs, create CVs and more.
Paul Kersley from Duchy Pro Solutions said: "I was so pleased that I was in a position to be able to donate the laptops on behalf of Duchy Pro Solutions to such a professional and passionate team, to help them support such a worthwhile cause."
Duchy Pro Solutions offer a free weekly tech equipment recycling open house every Saturday from 9am to 2pm at its base in St Columb Industrial Estate (opposite Mole Valley Farmers).
No appointment is necessary and there will be someone there to safely and securely recycle old and redundant laptops, computers, smart phones, tablets, monitors, TVs and more. For more information visit the website here.
