There are occasions when Coastline needs to visit your home to carry out a survey or some essential work.
For example, each year we visit a number of Coastline homes on a rolling basis to carry out what's called a Stock Condition Survey. It enables us to see whether any elements of your home need replacing or repairing. During this survey we will look around your property to see if any repairs need raising and if anything like a kitchen or bathroom replacement needs to be planned in.
We do appreciate though, that when you suffer with anxiety or other mental health issues, sometimes visits like these can seem like a big thing.
We are always happy to work with customers who have any concerns and see what measures we can put in place to make the visit go smoothly. It's something we received a customer compliment for recently.
A customer’s support worker emailed in to thank one of our surveyors for his approach on a recent Stock Condition Survey. Coastline had been trying to access the property for a number of months to complete the survey.
The customer suffers from a high level of anxiety and finds visitors to his home significantly increases this. Terry, our surveyor, made contact with the support worker and answered the customer's initial concerns.
At the end of the survey the customer thanked Terry for his approach and asked that we arrange for Terry to attend the next stock condition survey.
The support worked took the time to email and say “We would like to thank Terry for being so understanding, professional, approachable and very nice”
