Clients of our Homeless Service enjoyed a creative writing workshop at Tehidy Woods.
They talked with colleagues and learned about alliterations, connotations, personifications and pathetic fallacies and used picture card prompts to inspire descriptive stories.
Some of the stories that were talked about and written down were really imaginative and thought provoking. The woodland setting also helped inspire people, with everyone feeling much more relaxed out in nature.
This is just one of the many activities our Client Engagement Team holds throughout the year to encourage clients to take advantage of new opportunities, think differently about situations and engage with others and with staff.
Clients also go on regular 'explore Cornwall' walks, woodland visits, take part in our gardening projects and much, much more.
