Coastline arranged a Neighbourhood Action Day in Camborne over the Easter holidays. Promoting Responsible Neighbourhood Management, our teams and partner organisations visited Morrab Road, Manor Road, Pengwarras Road and surrounding lanes.
The Tenancy Management Team were on hand to speak to customers about any tenancy related queries, and walked around the area with local police officers to build community connections.
Our Tenancy Sustainment Officer and Housing Manager visited customers to talk about any financial concerns and to share useful information about support that is available.
The Community Investment Team carried out a litter pick, talked to customers about getting involved with Coastline, and gave out goodie bags for children with snacks and toys to keep them entertained during the rainy school holidays.
Joining them were Community Energy Plus with advice on support with energy saving, Volunteer Cornwall’s Health and Wellbeing Workers letting people know about their new project and one-to-one support that is available, plus Cornwall Council’s Community Link Worker.
Helping to promote reading as an enjoyable family activity, The National Literacy Trust gave away dozens of books for all ages, from babies up to teens and adults.
Coastline's Services Team took away four van loads of unwanted items that had been taking up space in customers’ gardens and sheds, ensuring everyone can make the best use of gardens and open spaces as we head into Spring and Summer.
We'll be holding more Neighbourhood Action Days during 2024 - check our social media for dates when they are announced.

We didn’t know Coastline helped out like this.
It’s great that you’re doing this!
