Working with a fantastic team of other operatives, you'll carry out all activities associated with internal and external maintenance on our range of Coastline properties.

The successful applicant for this role will have a sound level of education and ideally hold a relevant trade qualification, and also hold a CSCS card (required to obtain once in role if not previously held). We are also looking for someone who has experience of working with in a customer-focused environment and within a team, and is confident using the plant and equipment required for the job. A good understanding of health and safety at work would be advantageous.

This role requires a full driving licence and is subject to a basic DBS check.

We are seeking an enthusiastic grounds maintenance operative on a fixed term, 6 month contract. As grounds maintenance operative, you’ll carry out all aspects of grounds maintenance – cutting, planting, weeding– in a timely and efficient manner. Experience of working in grounds maintenance is preferred but not essential as full training will be given; we are looking for a motivated and willing individual to join the team.

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Access Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and providing first-point resolution for our valued customers and stakeholders. This is an exciting role which will give you a real insight into each and every aspect of Coastline, with each day presenting unique challenges and experiences.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in customer service roles, preferably in a similar industry, with strong problem-solving abilities, the ability to use your own initiative, and the capacity to handle urgent situations effectively. You will have proficient IT skills, including knowledge and experience of a range of Microsoft applications and will be familiar working with digital information, social media and systems. You will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be comfortable handling a high volume of telephone calls.

The hours are on a rolling two-week rota:

37 hours per week

Week 1 –Monday – 09:00am – 5:00pm, Tuesday – 09:30am – 5:00pm, Wednesday – 09:00am – 5:00pm, Thursday 09:00am – 5:00pm & Friday 09:00am – 5:00pm

Week 2 - Monday – 08:30am – 4:30pm, Tuesday – 08:30am – 4:00pm, Wednesday – 08:30am – 4:30pm, Thursday 08:30am – 4:30pm & Friday 08:30am – 4:30pm

An opportunity has arisen within the Development and Sales team at Coastline Housing and we are seeking an enthusiastic, capable individual to join us as a Development Officer on a temporary basis, to cover a period of maternity leave.

In this role, you will support our Development Managers and the wider team, by project managing a programme of schemes and a range of affordable housing projects in Coastline’s current portfolio. You will also assist in the identification and delivery of new business opportunities.

Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining scheme files, accurate record keeping, attending site meetings and liaising with internal and external stakeholders around the handover process, including snagging, defect inspections and sign-off.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team at Coastline. As an Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical systems within our properties and providing fantastic maintenance service to our customers in their homes.

You will have a good level of education and hold an NVQ level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or similar), and you will hold a valid CSCS card. As an Electrician working within our Customers homes you will have experience of working with the public, and be able to provide excellent customer service, as well as being able to complete risk assessments and method statements so that jobs are carried out safely. You will be self-motivated, flexible with a fantastic work ethic, and be comfortable working both within a team and independently.

You must have a full driving licence and be able to pass a basic DBS check for this role.

We have a rare opportunity for a position in our People and Culture team, with the newly created role of Communications Administrator. With Coastline’s growth in recent years and our focus on open, honest and transparent communications with internal and external customers, we are seeking a new colleague to join our existing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for helping draft and schedule communications on a variety of internal and external platforms, managing a busy, shared email inbox and gathering content for corporate publications, newsletters and Coastline’s website.

You must be confident and competent using various forms of social media, camera equipment and basic IT software, as you will be helping film, photograph and generate content both internally and at external events and sites. A driving licence is required.

The role also involves managing our monthly staff initiatives, generating reports and responding to incoming queries from colleagues, members of the public, MPs and other stakeholders in the local community.

You will support the wider Communications team as the voice of Coastline, so attention to detail and the ability to multitask is essential, as the role will be busy and diverse.

Coastline’s Homeless Service is passionate about breaking down stigma and barriers to the people we support. We provide crisis accommodation, a community hub for people experiencing homelessness, supported accommodation, accommodation for families, move on and outreach support, and a dedicated harm reduction/activities and inclusion team. We strive to not only to deliver a quality service to each individual, but ensure every interaction matters.

The successful candidate will provide support into Cowlins Mill, which is a project that supports individuals with a background of rough sleeping into education and employment.

The role will be for 30 hours per week averaging over a 2 week rolling period, as follows:

Week 1 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 9am – 5pm

Week 2 Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 9am-5pm

You would be joining a multi-disciplinary team where the focus is on team work that provides an exemplary service to the individuals we support. This includes supporting the delivery of activities, courses and other teams within the homeless service. We are less interested in the experience you provide as training will be provided, but more interested in individuals who absolutely feel motivated and can self-manage their time and passion to supporting individuals to move forward with their lives.
